Tinsel and garland Ornaments and stars Paint a beautiful picture Of what Christmas's are Packages are wrapped In red, gold, and green Pretty ribbon and bows Atop the gifts are seen Dinner roasts in the oven Ginger bread men on a plate The kids are excited As on Santa they wait All the hustle and bustle Is coming to an end As we settle down to spend Christmas With family and friends Our moods are happy Conversations are bright As we open our gifts On this Christmas Eve night The spirit of Christmas Is at it's highest delight It sparkles in the eyes of children On this special of all nights As Christmas comes And Christmas goes We pray this year That the spirit still grows May the spirit go beyond This night of nights And reside in our hearts On each day of our lives Written by:  S.
