Wrapped In The
Covers Tight
Sitting and wondering
Is this the night
Our weather predicts
A storm in sight
Winter is here
So we know not when
it might snow
While we are in bed
We bury ourselves
In the covers deep
Weary from our day
We need to sleep
Winter is such
A wonderful time
Sleeping deeply
Is so devine
The nights are long
And the covers are warm
We snuggle right up
To sleep out the storm
When we awake
In the morning light
We are so thankful
For our peaceful night
Nothing protects more
On Winter nights
Than being in our beds
Wrapped in the covers tight
