We really must be thankful On this our special day Our soldiers are in Iraq Keep them safe we pray Fly your flag so high Like on that September day When evil terrorist people Took our towers and lives away It's those soldiers that fight for us That keeps our freedom at home We need them more than ever We can't let them feel alone We must love, respect, and honor them Because in God we trust This celebration of Independence Day Proves our freedom is a must Happy Fourth of July to everyone We send prayers from you and me It's those brave enduring soldiers Who keep us safe and free Written by: S.
