The Curio Cabinet

Beautiful fish
Creatures of beauty unsurpassed
Some made of crystal
Some made of glass

Colors so vibrant
The deepest of hues
To choose the most beautiful
So difficult to do

There in a holding tank
For everyone to see
Shimmering and glimmering
No doubt you'll agree

All species, all kinds
There behind the glass
Big and little hiding
Behind imaginary grass

Statues surrounded with glass
Like fishermans nets
They live there on the shelves
Within my curio cabinet

When you enter a ladys curio cabinet
It's a vision of all her dreams
Watch her heart open
And her twinkling eyes beam
