The Best She Ever Had
Sometimes a certain song she hears

Makes her think of him

She bows her head and tries to think

But her life now feels grim

Tears always overcome her

She hopes no ones around

She knows that they would surely think

Why does she cry and frown

So even though she's taken down

Sort of buckled at her knees

She goes about her business

And hopes that no one sees

That's all a girl can really do

When he comes to mind that way

Just hold his memory deep inside

So no one sees her cry today

So goes life as she knows it

Some days are good and some are bad

Her days she shared with him she knows

Were the best she ever had
