Wash down the patio Water the plants Such a beautiful day It's Summer at last Get ready for swimming And cut the grass I saw a big dragonfly Lite on the glass Start up the grill Set the chairs around The relatives are coming From the other side of town Eat, and drink, and chit and chat Reminisce of times gone by Watch evening turn to darkness As lightening bugs luminate the sky Enjoy the moments Summer brings It's a special time of year It seems like it took forever Summer is finally here Written by: S.
