Out to the car
With everything we own

Off to go camping
Then bring it all home

Sitting on the boat
The fish take a spill

Cleaning up the mess
Was not Daddy's thrill

A storm came up
Our tent tumbled in the lake

Sleeping bags full of sand
For Heaven sake

Sleeping in the tent
Ants came in

There's one, there's one
You tromp my finger with this silly grin

Everybody sleeping
It was the middle of the night

One sick kid wakes us all
With a terrible fright

Sitting round the camp fire
To keep us warm

Have to hit the tent
Or drown from the storm

Let's go fishing Daddy
Bait my hook

I say bait mine too honey
He gives me "that" look

Playing in the sand
Swimming in the lake

We all looked like lobsters
The way we were baked

Cooking hot dogs on sticks
And marshmallows too

It was all so fun
There was so much to do

All those years
Come clearly to my mind

What are we gonna do this weekend

Camping, camping
The funnest weekends of any kind
