Of all the sweetest memories
That drift on through my mind
The pleasures of the ocean
Are my most special ones to find
I still imagine her waves
just rolling in and out
Her charm and peaceful moments
Is what she is all about
Her mystery of eras come and gone
Sea Captains from every time
Guarding their ships safe journey
His dedication, only the deepest kind
From her storms of raging violence
Pounding on the shore
To couples walking on the beach
In a love that they explore
Whales and dolphins
And fish of every kind
Coral, and seaweed
And sandcastles lost to tides
Her sand dunes, her fog horns
Ships passing in the night
Wreckage has delivered treasures
That lay upon her  floor
From screaching gulls up over head
To shells that wash upon the shore
The pleasures of the ocean
Is what my heart deeply wishes for
